![]() I Am Ghost return with style with their second album Those We Leave Behind, and those who loved the debut album will not be left dissapointed, with this one seemingly picking up exactly where the band left off, back in 2006 with Lovers Requiem. Lead single Bone Garden is a perfect example of the captivating song writting singer Steve Juliano is capable of with it's thundering guitars, pounding drums, chilling lyrics and addictive melodies. Other stand out tracks on the album include the murder and betrayal themed, Smile Of A Jesus Freak, , and the latest single, The Saddest Story Never Told. Be sure to check out the music video for the latter, coming soon. From the intro featuring a whispered lament set to haunting piano, to the final track, 'Set Me Free', Those We Leave Behind is fourty eight minutes and thirteen seconds of energetic, catchy, brooding fantasy based metal at it's finest. Expect big things from I Am Ghost in 2009. Album reviewed by Prelude/Will Brookes Last edited by Prelude; 06-24-2009 at 01:59 PM. |
